Text Box: Back To School
Text Box: The Family Resource Center would like to extend a special Welcome Back to all returning students and parents, and a Welcome Aboard to all new students and parents. School can be both an exciting and scary experience for new and returning students. The Family Resource Center would also like to offer parents and students our support in this transition.
The Hawkins County Family Resource Center was started by a grant in 1996. Even though the Center has changed over the years, one thing remains the same. It’s dedication to the students Text Box: and families of Hawkins County Schools. The Center’s purpose is to provide parents, students, teachers, and principals support, encouragement, and resources. The motto of the Family Resource Center is “serving the families of Hawkins County”. We strive to do just that—–serve our families. We are here to provide you with resources that will assist your child in getting the best education possible through the Hawkins County School System.
Every child is different, that is why the Resource Center is continuously a work in progress. Each day we are
Text Box: striving to meet new needs and assist with different situations. If you have a need that we can not meet directly, we will search the community until we can find someone to help you or your child.
The Family Resource Center is available to you Mon-Friday, 8:00-4:00. We are located in the first modular behind Rogersville Middle School. We can be reached by phone at 423-921-9621.
