The library has
recently undergone renovations with new paint, bookshelves, and books. Many of the
numerous new books and supplies have been purchased through the Reading First Grant. The
School Improvement Grant has purchased new blinds for the library. Thank you parent
volunteers, and Ms. Chastity Woods, Mrs. Jacki Price, Mrs. Kathy West, Mrs. Jarnigan, Mrs.
Sherry Terry and Ms. Erin for freely giving your time! The library looks great! |

The Reading
First Grant has supplied funding to purchase numerous books, audio books, books with
manipulatives, and books with puppets. This is the first time that our school has been
able to purchase such items. This would have never been possible without the Reading First
Grant! Teachers and students are able to check out many new and current books. Our
librarian has been able to use the new dictionaries, encyclopedias and atlases in her
lessons. The students love the new books and are greatly benefiting from the new
purchases! |
