Earth DayTree Planting Ceremony

During the Earth Day celebration, Mrs. Jones was presented with a Bradford pear tree. The tree was planted on the school playground in her honor for her many years of service at Keplar Elementary.

Students, faculty and staff gathered outside for a special tree planting ceremony in Mrs. Jones honor.

Mrs. Sizemore reads a special message to Mrs. Jones.

Each class participated in planting the tree by placing soil and water around it.

Thank You K-mart for donating the Bradford Pear tree for this special occasion on Earth Day.

Mrs. Sizemore holds the tree while Bud Reeves of Holston Electric digs a hole for the tree.
