Why did you choose to become a teacher? As a young person, I was drifting in neutral, not really accomplishing much. Some teachers & coaches inspired me & I accomplished goals in my life. I wanted to make a difference in someone's life.

What is the most challenging part about teaching? Parent apathy when it comes to student behavior & student apathy. The "I don't care" attitude that is so prevalent today.

As a teacher, what are the most important qualities that a student should possess to achieve success? The attitude to realize that teachers are authority figures & should be respected as such.

Your advice to the upcoming freshman: Take your never beginning & be as good as you can be.

What class or classes do you teach and what will the class be studying and learning? Physical Education - The students will be conditioning their bodies a little & playing sports & games with peers.
