Why did you choose to become a teacher? Teaching chose me. I was a teachers assistant at UT and loved it so much, I changed my major from Engineering to Math.

What is the most challenging part about teaching? Getting students to believe in themselves enough to take academic risks.

As a teacher, what are the most important qualities that a student should possess to achieve success? Students must have some form of internal motivation. Thy must have a "drive" to want to succeed.

Your advice to the upcoming freshman: Don't base potential life changing decisions on what your "friends" say.

What class or classes do you teach and what will the class be studying and learning? Algebra I and AP Calculus

How much and what kinds of homework can your students expect? Homework is assigned almost everyday. Students are expected to do their work accurately. Perfect practice makes perfect.

What is the best way for your students to communicate with you? Students should come talk to me.
