The professional school counselor is a Master’s level, certified educator trained in school counseling. These professionals have the unique skills to address all students’ academic, personal/social and career developmental needs. Professional school counselors implement a school counseling program that promotes and enhances student achievement. The Mission of the Volunteer High School Guidance Program is to meet the personal, social, educational and career development needs of all students, helping them to reach their potential by providing a developmental, sequential and comprehensive program which includes instruction, prevention, intervention services and consultation with our clients. |
